Galatasaray midfielder Mario Lemina has praised teammate Victor Osimhen and revealed the key qualities that set the striker apart from other forwards, Soccernet.ng reports.
The Super Eagles forward has continued to strengthen his reputation as one of the most prolific strikers in world football and it is no surprise he has continued to attract interest from several top European clubs ahead of the summer transfer window.
Osimhen scored twice in Galatasaray’s 4-2 win over Antalyasapor last weekend, which sealed a fourth consecutive Turkish Super Lig title for the Cimbom and also the second league crown of his career since joining the club.
The 27-year-old has now scored 59 goals in 74 appearances across all competitions since moving to Turkey in 2024. In his debut season, the former Napoli star scored 37 goals in all competitions to help Galatasaray secure a league and cup double.

Despite struggling with injuries this season, the Nigerian forward still managed to score 22 goals across all competitions, proving his worth after Galatasaray paid a Turkish record €75 million to sign him permanently last summer.
Mario Lemina hails Victor Osimhen’s impact
Speaking on The 360 Experience with Onan Khosi, Mario Lemina, who also scored in the title-clinching victory, expressed admiration for Osimhen’s competitive spirit and winning mentality.
The Gabon international, who returned to Galatasaray from Wolves in 2025, described the Nigerian forward as the best striker he has ever seen because of the qualities that make him unique.

“Victor Osimhen is the world's best striker. He is the most complete striker I've seen in my life. I think he's the best I've seen in my life. He's a special one”, Lemina said via Forza Cimbom.
“We love each other with Osimhen. We always want to win. When someone shouts, it's a positive thing for the team. I love that. Osimhen is a warrior. His best quality is his competitiveness. He always wants to win.”

While no decision has been made for now, Victor Osimhen’s future has remained a major talking point since Galatasaray sealed the league title last weekend, with speculation continuing over whether the striker will remain at the club beyond this season.
Meanwhile, the Nigerian striker is expected to miss Galatasaray’s final league game of the 2025-26 season against Kasımpaşa on Sunday as the champions look to finish the campaign on a high.
