FIFA World Cup 2026 album: 4 Nigerian artists feature as FIFA reveals official music line-up

The 2026 FIFA World Cup is just a few days away, and the anticipation is already reaching a fever pitch. Fans from participating nations—and even those whose teams missed out—are feeling the tension as it approaches Soccernet.ng reports.

​Nigeria is among the major footballing nations that failed to qualify for the Mundial for a second consecutive time, marking a heartbreaking period for the country's fans.

However, there is still a significant cause for national pride, as four Nigerian artists have been featured on the official tournament album.

​Last month, Shakira revealed the official tournament anthem, “Dai Dai,” which features Burna Boy.

Then, On Wednesday, the world football governing body confirmed that three other Nigerian superstars are involved in the official album of the competition.

​Usually, in big tournaments like the World Cup, new songs are specially released for the competition. This year is no different, as FIFA has unveiled the list of songs specially made for the showpiece.

Burna Boy featured in the theme song. But asides from him, there are three Nigerian artists featured on the 2026 World Cup album, and they are Rema, Ayra Starr, and Davido.

​Rema appears on the track “Goals,” collaborating with Anitta and Lisa. Davido features on the song “No Place Like Home” alongside Major Lazer and Nelly Furtado, while Ayra Starr lends her vocals to “Show Me” alongside American rapper Latto.

​The 2026 World Cup album boasts an elite lineup, featuring other global stars like Future, 21 Savage, French Montana, The Rolling Stones, and Shaggy, among others.

​The 18-track compilation is set to light up the host nations—the United States, Canada, and Mexico—with an eclectic blend of sounds throughout the tournament this June and July.
