Super Eagles striker Paul Onuachu scored a brace for Trabzonspor in their 3-0 thrashing of Samsunspor on Sunday, Soccernet.ng reports.

Onuachu has been in brilliant form for the Black Sea Storm all season, and he continued in the same vein when they traveled to the Samsun 19 Mayis Stadyumu to take on Samsunspor.

The Kırmızı Şimşekler had built a reputation as one of the most difficult teams to play against in the Turkish top-flight, but they were no match for Fatih Tekke and his men.

In the 55th minute, Onuachu put the ball in the net again, but it was chalked off by VAR after a foul was spotted in the build-up.

The Super Eagles star was not to be denied, however, as he converted a low cross from Umut Nayir in the 81st minute to make it 2-0.
