Moses Simon On Target For Nantes

The Nigerian international has struggled for form this season, but he was on target in Les Canaries French top-flight clash at Stade Raymond Kopa

Super Eagles star Moses Simon has opened the scoring for Nantes, who are currently two goals up in their Ligue 1 clash at Angers.

Simon put Les Canaries ahead in the fourth minute, finishing off a superb pass from, French midfielder, Ludovic Blas.

It is Simon’s third goal in 19 Ligue 1 matches this season. The Nigerian international is yet to hit last season’s form, which saw him won the club fans player of the year and also earned him a four-year contract at Stade de la Beaujoire.

However, he would hope this goal set him off on a brilliant run of form for the rest of the season. Nantes are currently in control against their hosts after Imran Louza penalty in the seventh minute doubled their advantage.

Antoine Krilone Kombouaré’s men are currently in the relegation spot, but they will move above Lorient in 17th place if they can hold on to the result.
