The Nigerian forward has found the back of the net for the first time in the league since last July
Kelechi Iheanacho has handed Leicester City the lead with a fine header in their English Premier League clash against Fulham at the Craven Cottage.
The former Manchester City forward last hit the target in a league clash in the Foxes 3-0 home triumph over Crystal Palace on July 4.
But having earned a rare start for the visitors due to Jamie Vardy’s absence as a result of injury, Iheanacho took just 17 minutes to make his impact felt.
The Super Eagles striker timed his run into the home side’s box to perfection before guiding a James Maddison cross past goalkeeper Alphonse Areola.
It is Iheanacho’s first league strike of the season for Brendan Rodgers’ men and his first since smashing home a brace in a 4-0 thrashing of Sporting Braga in a UEFA Europa League clash back in November.
