Joe Aribo’s First Goal Of 2021 Gets Rangers Roaring

The Gers are proving to be too strong for every club in the Scottish top-flight after another blazing start to their game against Ross County

Nigerian midfielder Joe Aribo opened his goal account for the new year with the third goal as Rangers raced to a 3-0 halftime lead against Ross County at the Ibrox on Saturday afternoon.

Aribo has been spectacular against the Staggies as Steven Gerrard’s side is on the verge of extending their unbeaten start to the season following an excellent first half in Glasgow.

Ryan Kent slammed home the opener after just six minutes before Filip Helander made it two just before the half-hour mark, following a missed James Tavernier penalty.

Aribo then added a third – his fifth goal of the season – in the 37th minute, pouncing on a Tavernier cross to beat the opposing goalkeeper.

The second half begins shortly.

Details at the end of the game.
