The Nigerian midfield general was in the thick of the action as the Foxes played out a thrilling draw against the Red Devils on Saturday
The Premier League’s early Boxing Day clash had Leicester City battle out an exciting 2-2 draw with Manchester United, with Wilfred Ndidi dropping another eye-catching performance.
Fresh from winning the man-of-the-match award for his excellent display against Jose Mourinho’s Tottenham Hotspurs last weekend – an away game Brendan Rodgers’ men edged with a 2-0 scoreline – Ndidi was yet again a massive influence in midfield for the Foxes.
The Super Eagles star was one of the hosts’ most outstanding players against Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s charges, winning eight of the 13 duels he was involved in, making three interceptions, and claiming seven tackles.
And according to respected football statistics firm Squawka, Ndidi’s seven tackles against United was the most by any Leicester City player in a single Premier League game this season.

That record confirms Brendan Rodgers’ comment that Ndidi is irreplaceable for the Foxes.
It’s a record that has got fans hailing the Nigerian midfielder on social media site Twitter.

Due to injury and surgery, Ndidi has only featured seven times for Leicester City this term, and the 24-year-old would be in line to add to that when the Foxes make the trip to Crystal Palace in another two days.
